10.23.04 (8:15 pm) [edit]its almost halloween! yea its great. everyone loves halloween, even the people who dont love halloween.
halloween is great. nothing better than going outside form house to house begging for candy with ur friends, and in costumes too.
for the first time in 3 years, i actually have a costume! i could never find one that i liked, so i put on a hoodie and a gilligans hat with some sunglasses, and i became new-age gilligan! lol this year, im going to be hige from wolf's rain. hes the light-brown wolf, with the collar. hes my favorite. i cant believe i actually found clothes that looked almost exactly like the ones he has.
in school, we are learnin how to present and write speeches. the first one was directional, the one i have to do next is informational. im choosing to do it on wolf's rain! lol. this is the first public speaking thing im actually looking forward to. im not very good at public speaking, considering i have a slight speach impediment lol. its not bad, i just mumble my words together. i find it pretty fun cuz it annoys people :D
no mroe wolf's rain on adlt swim!!! the series ended, so they are showing read or die now. that, and kenshin is bak on! maybe i can finally watch most of the begining episodes i always seem to miss.

10.17.04 (10:44 am) [edit]i saw it. there are no words to describe what i saw.
i sat there, with my eyes wide open and my jaw hanging, stunned, for 25 minutes playing through the episode in my head, comprehending what i just saw. the only word that comes even remotely close to describing it, is beautiful, and that still does not compare.
the last episode of wolf's rain was on last night. i loved it. the way it ended was so... no words.
Darcia had become a wolf, and he needed cheza to open paradise. Hige and blue tried to stop him, but they both were killed by Darcia. Tsume came up from behind, and hige asked tsume to end his life, he was in pain and suffering, and it would have meant alot if it was tsume that did him in. Darcia had cheza in his fangs many times, piercing her skin and tormenting kiba. he was about to get her again, when tsume attacked him and held him off. but tsume fell in battle as well. darcia leapt into the large crater and kiba follwed.
following this, was a battle the way battles should be. kiba and darcia fought with all they had, and both of them experienced many injuries. sadly, darcia came through victorious, but kiba wasnt dead. darcia vomited, and cheza told him her blood was poison to those not protected by the flowers. he stumbled into the large pool of water in the center and was taken by a large energy explosion of some sort, and all that was left was hs human eye.
cheza was dying(or blooming, should i say) and kiba had nothing left to live for. his friends were dead, cheza was dying, and paradise was lost to him. cheza told him not to be sad, for the world will freeze over, but it will all start over again, and he can try again when the world is reborn. crying, he screams out in pain as cheza bursts into hundreds of seeds.
he limps away, taking the last lunar flower, as far as he can go. he passes out, and the world is starting its rebirth. the ground gives way under him and he falls to the bottom of the lake. opening his eyes, he sees the moon return to its original color.
the series comes to a grand and beautiful ending as it shows a reborn world, and all three wolves are living in a modern day city, b4 they have met each other. somehow, they know something is about to happen...
wow, and i mean wow. it was an excellent show, with an equally excellent ending. i really want to see more, and i wouldnt mind if they showed them trying to find paradise in the new world. what kiba said at the end was awesome too:

10.16.04 (5:41 pm) [edit]tonight is the final episode of wolf's rain. my friend, who has seen wolfs rain b4 me told me that it would be awesome. hopefully, hes right. even tho wolfs rain is always awesome. he said id cry out of awesomessness. lol. i heard that they all die in the end, which i didnt want to hear. at all. made me angry... well i finally got my halloween costume. im bein Hige from wolfs rain. of course, i could find exactly what he wears, so i need to buy clothes that look somewhat like his and modify them. i got the clothes, and i was surprised how much the shirts looked the same. all i gotta do now i add the pockets. off to the fabric store! or whatever its called so-s i can get my pockets an sow em on

10.14.04 (4:10 pm) [edit]Hellz yea! boxing is even better when its done anime-style! Hajime no Ippo is the new hotness lol. with Wolf's Rain ending, im gonna need another awesome anime series to hold me over. after watching the first 3 episodes of Hajime no Ippo, i was hooked! (lol, get it, hooked? like the punch) wow that was a bad pun. Ippo is a kid who has no real friends, he spends most of his time helping his single mom on her work, taking people fishing in boats! some guy saves him when he is getting beat up by some bullies, and Ippo is brought for first aid to the Boxing gym. after punchng the [i]hell[/i] out of the sandbag(with one punch!) , and watching some boxing tapes, he wants to start! does he have what it takes? watch the series! ill tell u this tho, the fights are simply amazing, Ippo is full of determination and fighting spirit. and what anime wouldnt be complete without special(yet strangely realistic for an anime) moves! man this show is great i wanna see more!

10.03.04 (6:58 pm) [edit]i dont like to download shows if i can watch them on tv, so i havent downloaded wolf's rain yet. i find it more fun with a week of suspense in between each episode.
nooo!!! in wolfs rain, toboe got shot!! quent was all gonna shoot darcia, and darcia was all gonna shoot quent. but toboe jumped in the way!! he got shot and quent was like what have i done! he crawled over to him. darcia came up to him, pointin his pistol to his head all trigun/legato like.... gunshot:show ended. i dont know what happened, and i want to know. cant wait till next week. it seems like everyones dyin and the world is fallin apart. cher died, quent got runned over and shot supposedly. hige got stabbed, cheza is weak, toboe got shot and might be dead. kiba and tsume are havin doubts about hige. its turnin out to be a great ending
that reminds me... in trigun when legato forced vash to kill him... beautiful. if u saw it, u know what im talkin about. one of the greatest moments of tv ive ever seen, along with tsukio in airmaster lol (il explain that later). legato was the man

okey dokey. Dai Hin Min is an awesome card game. i learned it from Fruits Basket! its actually a very good card game, its easy to learn and it doestn have any confusing foriegn rules or other things like that. anyways, heres how it goes straight from the site i took it from:
Objective
The aim is to get rid of all your cards as soon as possible.
Players and Cards
About 4 to 7 people using a standard 54 card pack with jokers. The suits are irrelevant and the cards rank, from high to low with deuces high: 2 A K Q J 10 9 8 7 6 5 4 3. Jokers are wild.
Deal
The game is played clockwise. All the cards are dealt out. Some players may have one more than others.
Play
The player to dealer's left starts by leading (face up) any single card or any set of cards of equal rank (for example, three fives). Each player in turn must then either pass (i.e. not play any cards), or play face up a card or set of cards which beats the previous play.
A single card is beaten by any higher single card. A set of cards can only be beaten by a higher set containing the same number of cards. So for example, if the previous player played two sixes, you can beat this with two kings, or two sevens, but not with a single king, and not with three sevens (though you could play two of them and hang onto the third).
It is not necessary to beat the previous play just because you can -- passing is always allowed. Also passing does not prevent you from playing the next time your turn comes round.
The play continues as many times around the table as necessary until someone makes a play which everyone else passes. All the cards played are then turned face down and put to one side, and the player who played last (and highest) in the previous "trick" starts again by leading any card or set of equal cards.
For example the play might go:
Tohru leads with a pair of fours. Kyo follows with a pair of sevens. Uo passes. Hanajima follows with a pair of Tens. Tohru passes. Kyo plays a pair of Jacks. Uo passes. Hanajima passes. Tohru passes. Kyo then starts again by leading any card or set.
When a player whose turn it is to play has no more cards left, the turn passes to the next player in rotation. Therefore in the example, if the two Jacks were Kyo's last two cards, he would sit out the rest of the round and it would then be Uo's turn to play anything.
Jokers are wild and are equal in rank to whatever card they are played with.
For scoring purposes, whoever goes out first gets 2 points, second out gets one point and the rest of the players get no points.
Social Status
The first player who is out of cards is dubbed the "Dai Fugo," or very rich man. Other variations on the rules call this person the President, King, or the Great Dalmuti. The last player to be left with any cards is known as the "Dai Hin Min," or very poor man. You can also use other derisive terms such as peon, beggar, scum, or a--hole.
While it's not part of the basic Dai Hin Min rules, many variations also give titles to the players based on their rank. So if you use "King" as your model, you might have King, Duke, Knight, Merchant, and Peon as your ranks. More importantly, the players of higher status are entitled to enjoy and generally abuse their power over the lower ranking players. You can also add to the fun by having players wear hats based on rank, with the leader wearing a crown and the loser wearing a dunce cap.
Between hands, players move seats based on ranks. The Dai Fugo selects the most comfortable chair; second place sits to the left, and so on around to the Dai Hin Min who sits to the Dai Fugo's right, probably on a crate or packing case.
The Dai Hin Min is responsible for shuffling, dealing and clearing away the cards when necessary. As the players are now seated clockwise in order of rank, the first card is dealt to the Dai Fugo, and so on down.
When the deal is complete, the Dai Hin Min must give his highest card to the Dai Fugo, and the Dai Fugo gives back in exchange any card that he does not want. Second place trades with second from last, etc. If there are an odd number of players, the middle player doesn't swap. (Variation: swap 2 cards per round)
The Dai Hin Min then leads any card or set of cards and the game continues as before.
End of Game
If scoring, set a target score (say 11 points). The game ends when someone reaches it.
Variations
Shibari
If a player follows a play with a card of the same suit, that player may declare "shibari," or "binding," which means that all other players must follow suit in order to play. For example, if Hanajima plays a seven of clubs and Tohru trumps it with a nine of clubs, she can declare shibari on clubs, and only clubs can be played. This variation can work with doubles and triples, too. Example -- Kyo plays a six of clubs and a six of hearts. Uo trumps that with a eight of diamonds and an eight of hearts. She can declare shibari on hearts so that each subsequent play must have a heart plus any other. Double shibari or triple shibari can be declared if two or three suits match. Shibari's are only effective for the hand in which they are played.
Revolution!
If four of a kind are played, it is called a revolution. When this happens, the rank of cards is reversed. From that point on, lower values now trump higher values until there is another revolution.
Dai Fugo makes the rules!
Another fun variation is to let the Dai Fugo add an extra rule each round (or cancel an existing rule). The rules will likely make it easier for the Dai Fugo to keep winning or humiliating for the loser, but in Dai Hin Min, as in life, it's not always fair. But remember Karma -- what comes around goes around, and you won't stay on top forever ...
